Our commitment.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use apilapm.co.uk. We have built the site with accessibility in mind, and we keep working to improve it.

What we have done.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA. Steps taken include:

• Text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or function.
• Colour contrast that meets AA thresholds for body text and interface elements.
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, with decorative images marked as such.
• A page structure built from proper headings, landmarks and lists, with one main heading per page and no skipped heading levels.
• Forms with visible labels, clear error messages and keyboard-accessible controls.
• Full keyboard navigation with visible focus states, and a skip to content link.
• Descriptive link text rather than "click here".
• A layout that works on mobile, tablet and desktop, in both portrait and landscape.

Known limitations.

We are aware that some parts of the site are not yet perfect:

• Some interactive elements in the main navigation are smaller than the 44 by 44 pixel target size recommended as an enhanced guideline, although they meet the 24 by 24 pixel minimum required at AA.
• The site has not been independently audited by an accessibility specialist.
• Photography on the site is atmospheric rather than informative, and its alt text describes the setting rather than any specific project.

We are working to address these.

Third-party content.

We do not currently embed third-party content such as maps, video players or social feeds. If we add any, we will choose providers with accessibility in mind and look for alternatives where a component causes problems.

Getting information in another format.

If you need information from this website in a different format, such as large print, plain text or read to you over the phone, contact us and tell us what you need. We will do our best to help.

Reporting a problem.

How we tested.

This site was reviewed in August 2026 using automated checks covering alt text coverage, heading structure, form labelling, link text and colour contrast, alongside manual keyboard navigation checks. It has not been independently audited.

Enforcement.
